The Community Services Block Grant utilizes a network of Community Action Agencies (CAA) to support efforts to identify, reduce, or eliminate the causes of poverty and to help solve problems that block the achievement of economic self-sufficiency.

Through Employment and Training Services, we can help you start a new job or career, get the training or education you need, advance your career, understand the job market, and much, much more.

The Big Sandy Area has benefited from the Head Start program for over 40 years and children continue to receive a valuable early childhood foundation and develop school readiness in our 63 center-based classrooms each year.

The Tenant Based Rental Assistance and Weatherization Assistance Programs provide needed assistance to help our community turn housing in homes.
