Partner Updates

Pikeville Medical Center is partnering with Medix to hire and train staff to support the MyChart app – Epic Analysts. People are hired on through Medix on a 12-month to hire contract. After 12-months, they are hired on by PMC. This is guaranteed unless they have horrible work attendance or really mess stuff up.

During the 12-months, they will spend the first 6-8 weeks earning an Epic Certification. Work hours are 9:00-5:00 M-F at 40 hours per week. There is a possibility of remote work, but the first 6 months are required onsite at PMC. Pay is good. I don’t have an exact amount, but I do know $60,000 is within range and they offer benefits.
